Nyst Legal are proud to announce that, for the third year in a row, Nyst Legal Senior Associate Jonathan Nyst has been named as a finalist in the Criminal Law category of the national Lawyers Weekly Australia 30 Under 30 Awards.

The Lawyers Weekly Australia 30 Under 30 Awards is the premier national event showcasing the depth of talent in the ranks of Australia’s young gun lawyers, celebrating their success and passion for the business of law. The finalist list, which was announced in April, features a host of the nation’s best and brightest young lawyers, recognised as the stand-out achievers over a range of submission-based categories. Throughout the Australian legal services industry, reaching the finalists stage is regarded as an outstanding achievement, displaying the depth of dedication and commitment each individual brings to advancing the nation’s legal profession.

“There is no bigger or better celebration of the myriad achievements of Australia’s emerging generation of leaders in law,” Lawyers Weekly editor Jerome Doraisamy announced recently. “The 30 Under 30 Awards allows us to acknowledge and recognise those up-and-comers who are doing extraordinary things against the backdrop of turbulent and uncertain times. The winners and finalists at this event will, in almost all cases, be the lawyers who will help shape the direction of Australia’s legal profession for years to come.”

The ultimate winner of each 30 Under 30 category will be announced at a black-tie event at the Star, Sydney, next month. The directors and staff of Nyst Legal wish Jonathan the best of luck on the big night, and take this opportunity to congratulate him and all of the other young finalists who have been so deservedly recognised for their valuable contribution to the practice of law in Australia.
