Jordan commenced working with Nyst Legal in 2021 while studying a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Griffith University, where he received numerous accolades for academic excellence including the George Tanner Prize for his contribution to the Griffith University Innocence Project where he worked under the direction of lawyers from Nyst Legal. Jordan was admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2022 and the High Court of Australia in 2023, and operates primarily across the dispute resolution & litigation, commercial, corporate & property, wills & estates, traffic & corporate regulatory and criminal law divisions. He shares his time between the firms Southport and Brisbane offices.

Jordan’s breadth of academic and vocational legal knowledge is extended by his service as a Justice of the Peace since 2015 and his Restorative Justice Practitioner Certification since 2019. He also previously held the position of Co-Editor of the Griffith University Law Journal and is a former member of the Queensland Government Youth Advisory Panel, assisting in writing submissions to Parliament on a multitude of proposed legislative changes, most prominently, in relation to the passing of Queensland’s Voluntary Assisting Dying Laws in 2021.
